– The material may be submitted for peer review. The author considers the reviewer's proposed changes. 
– The manuscript is proofread and returned to the author for review of amendments. 
– The author submits the final manuscript, including support for images and figures, indicating the source and rights. 
– The publisher secures any rights (text and images) relating to main author other than the author.
