We would like to have a photo of you at the author presentation on the back cover, but this is of course not compulsory. The photo is reproduced in black and white. It will also be published on our website next to your presentation. For reasons of space, it is usually not possible to have author photos on the covers of anthologies.

Things to consider regarding the author photo: 

• Check the camera settings so that the photo is taken at the highest possible resolution (quality)
• Take the photo in portrait format so that you are visible from the head down to the waist. 
• Take the photo in daylight against a quiet background. 
• Look into the camera. 
• Avoid patterned clothing
• Name the image file with your full name and email in to your editor. 

We need to know that we have the rights to publish the photo on our website and in marketing materials. If you have hired a third party, it is therefore important that you let us know. As the image is reproduced at 25 × 35 mm, you do not need to hire a professional photographer. Do not hesitate to contact your publisher or editor if you have any questions.
