During the planning phase:

– Discussions about scope, content and struktur
– The author and the publisher lay out a plan for writing and receiving feedback on the manuscript. 
– The publisher´s production time(i.e. from a finished manuscript) Varies form book to book, but the average production time is 20 weeks. The author will receive a more detailed schedule from the editor.
